Israeli Air Force Targets Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in Beqaa Valley

The Israeli Air Force has carried out intensive airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon’s eastern Beqaa Valley, according to an official IDF statement.

The targeted sites included military compounds linked to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force, which the IDF says were being used to train operatives and store weapons for future attacks against Israel.

“These camps are part of Hezbollah’s operational infrastructure for planning and executing terror operations against the State of Israel,” the IDF said. The strikes reportedly hit weapons depots and training facilities, which Israel described as a violation of security understandings and a direct threat to national security.

The Radwan force, a key Hezbollah unit, was long tasked with implementing the ‘Conquer the Galilee’ plan to invade northern Israel, a strategy the IDF claims has been in preparation for years until recent conflicts disrupted it.
