Trump Weighs Tomahawk Missiles for Ukraine, $10B Aid Package Includes ATACMS
🚨 The Washington Post reports that U.S. President Donald J. Trump has considered providing Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles, a significant escalation in Washington’s military support options. While these weapons are not included in the initial aid package, Trump may activate their delivery later as leverage to pressure Moscow.
The $10 billion U.S. military aid package unveiled this week already includes authorization for 18 ATACMS missiles, capable of striking targets at a range of 300 km, with the possibility of additional deliveries in the future.
During recent conversations, Trump reportedly asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky why Kyiv had not yet struck Moscow. Zelensky responded:
“We can, if you give us the weapons.”
Trump replied:
“Ukraine should apply greater pressure on Putin—not only in Moscow but also in St. Petersburg.”
This development underscores Washington’s willingness to escalate Ukraine’s strike capabilities while keeping the Tomahawk option on the table as a strategic bargaining chip.
